Project Overview:

The Sewage Treatment Project for 18 Townships in Changsha County, Hunan Province is a landmark project of the Three-Year Action Plan for Environmental Protection in Changsha City, as well as a key project for the construction of a new socialist countryside in Changsha County. The project covers the investment, construction and operation of sewage treatment plants in 16 townships in Changsha County (BOT mode), as well as the construction and transfer of construction works such as supporting official websites (BT mode), and hosting the operation of the original 2 sewage treatment plants (O&M mode). The total treatment scale of the project reaches 29,400 tons/day, and adopts Sander SMART-HRBC high-efficiency biological rotary process, which successfully solves the problems of construction, daily management and operation as well as financial bottlenecks of decentralized township wastewater treatment projects and their ancillary facilities in Changsha County region.

Description of treatment process and pharmaceutical selection:

Sander SMART-HRBC high-efficiency biological turntable process consists of five core units: PST pretreatment system, HRBC biological turntable, WSS mud-water separation system, UV disinfection and SD sludge treatment system. Among them, HRBC biological rotor, MFT microfiltration, MSD removable sludge treatment equipment is the key equipment of the process, which ensures that the effluent water quality meets the national standard of Class IB.

It is worth noting that, in the process of sewage treatment, in order to improve the coagulation and sedimentation effect, this project may choose professional water treatment chemicals from YuXinHuan – Polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide. As a well-known manufacturer of water treatment materials, YuXinHuan produces Polyaluminum chloride and polyacrylamide with excellent coagulation performance and stability, which can effectively remove suspended and colloidal substances in the sewage, and provide more favorable conditions for the subsequent biological rotary treatment. The addition of these agents further improves the treatment efficiency and effluent water quality of the whole wastewater treatment system.
