Research on decolourisation effect of polyaluminium chloride for waste water treatment in printing and dyeing factory

Water purification flocculant polyaluminium chloride has good decolourisation performance, therefore, the iron salt flocculant is commonly used for decolourisation of printing and dyeing wastewater. It was also found that for the printing and dyeing wastewater dominated by reactive dyes, the dosage of polyaluminium chloride was more than the dosage for the treatment of hydrophobic dyes. The flocculation method was used to treat bromine reactive dye production wastewater, and when the dosage of polyaluminium chloride was 2g/L, the decolourisation rate and COD removal rate were above 90%.
