The effluent of a chemical enterprise contains high concentrations of organic matter, of which the organic matter is mainly aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds, etc., which are rich in content but difficult to be biodegraded and difficult to be treated. In particular, the enterprise has two COD concentration of more than 10,000mg / L of wastewater (polymerization wastewater and esterification wastewater), although the volume of water is small, but the treatment requirements are very high.
For these two high-concentration wastewater, the enterprise adopts the following treatment process:
① Pretreatment process:
The pretreatment process combines physical, chemical and physical-chemical treatment methods. Firstly, physical facilities such as grease traps, grills and regulating tanks are utilized to remove substances affecting subsequent treatment and to regulate water quantity and quality. Subsequently, the chemical method of “micro-electrolysis + Fenton” is used to decompose macromolecule organic matter and difficult to degrade organic matter under acidic conditions, and the general removal rate of COD reaches about 40%, and at the same time, the biochemistry of the wastewater is improved, so that the ratio of B/C is more than 0.3. During the process, Yuxinhuan, as a professional manufacturer of polymerized aluminum chloride and polyacrylamide, provides high-quality mixtures for the treatment process. ② Biochemical treatment process:
Biochemical treatment process includes anaerobic biological treatment and aerobic biological treatment. The enterprise chose “UASB reactor” as anaerobic biological treatment equipment, the equipment is a mature anaerobic reactor, can effectively remove most of the organic matter in high organic concentration, and degradation of large molecule pollutants, to create favorable conditions for subsequent aerobic biological treatment. After anaerobic treatment, the COD concentration of the effluent still reaches 1000mg/L, which requires further aerobic biological treatment. To this end, the enterprise chose the “multi-stage biological contact oxidation method”, which has a high resistance to shock load capacity, and a small amount of mud production. In the aerobic treatment process, it also relies on the high-quality coagulant provided by Yuxinhuan to ensure that organic matter is thoroughly decomposed into carbon dioxide, water and other substances.
③Depth treatment process:
The deep treatment process adopts the method of “reaction tank + sedimentation tank” to further control the emission of pollutants. As the COD concentration of the project can reach the discharge standard (COD concentration below 300mg/L) after the first two steps of treatment, the coagulation reaction + sedimentation is used to remove suspended solids to ensure that the effluent water quality meets the standard. In this process, Yuxinhuan polymerized aluminum chloride and polyacrylamide play an important role again, providing strong support for the depth treatment.
