In coagulants, substances that can cause sedimentation of sediment in water are called coagulants. The commonly used coagulants mainly include inorganic cationic polymers such as hydroxyaluminum and hydroxyzirconium. These inorganic cationic polymers can dissociate in water, giving multi nucleated hydroxyl bridging ions and neutralizing the negative charge on the surface of solid suspensions.
